This year 5 percent less grain was produced
This year, 6.9 million tons of grain was produced on a 1.3 percent more area, compared to the previous year, which is a 5.0 percent decline.
The volatile weather had a negative impact on this year’s average yields, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Thursday. Out of the oats, all grain cereal yields lagged behind last year. (MTI)
