The pioneering brand of plant-based nutrition celebrates its 40th birthday this year
One of the popular manufacturers of plant-based foods, Alpro is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. On this occasion, the brand is launching a new sustainability action plan until 2025 and has also announced a 30 million euros investment to develop its European production capacity to meet growing consumer demand for plant-based products.
Four decades of pioneering work
Alpro started out as a Belgian plant-based food company and is now available to consumers in more than 50 countries around the world. From the beginning, the brand has been committed to supporting consumers ’awareness of our environment. It soon gained serious fame throughout Europe and around the world among consumers of special diets and those looking for a variety of plant foods and beverages.
