This year, 33 beaches at the Lake Balaton were given the Blue Wave Flag rating
This year, the quality of the services at the Lake Balaton have improved significantly – Balassa Balázs, President of the Balaton Federation (BSZ) said on Tuesday in Siófok, at the Blue Wave Flag Ceremony. The flag was awarded to 33 beaches at the Lake Balaton.
The beach rating system that was launched by the BSZ 13 years ago was refined further this year. The quality of the services are marked with five stars instead of the previous three. In the second half of June, several civil society organizations of the Balaton and the Balaton Uplands National Park Directorate were involved as well. (MTI)
