This year, the amount of agricultural insurance premium subsidies increased to 11 billion HUF
Last year, the amount of support for agricultural insurance premiums increased from 5 billion HUF to 7 billion HUF, and this year by another four billion, the Association of Hungarian Insurers (MABISZ) pointed out in a statement sent to MTI.
They highlighted: farmers can get back up to 70 percent of their insurance premiums as a retrospective subsidy.
MABISZ explained that in the system operating since 2012, farmers are encouraged to take out agricultural insurance with a premium subsidy that also uses EU funds. (MTI)
