One-fourth of the entire annual online retail sales are conducted in the Christmas period. Just like last year, the most popular gifts are expected to be tablets. The joint “Report of the Internet Economy” research of eNET and Telekom is dealing with the Christmas shopping fever.
Christmas rush on the net
The Christmas rush is getting closer every day. According to the e-commerce research of eNET, about 23 percent of the entire annual online retail sales in 2012 was realized in the November-December period.
According to the estimates of eNET, Internet retail sales in Hungary will reach 200 billion HUF in 2013. On the basis of the datas of the previous years, this would mean a 46 billion HUF Christmas trade turnover this year. (eNET – Telekom)
