Ideally, invoicing will be done by machines in the future
Balázs Ángyán, the CEO of Számlázz.hu, which serves 800,000 businesses and is 20 years old this year, was one of the participants in the “FutureBIZ – the first business futures conference”. Among other things, Balázs Ángyán discussed at the event and in the subsequent background discussions that in 10 years we probably won’t even know the terms invoicing and digital finance, because they will seem as old as the steam locomotive today.
Artificial intelligence is coming, but customer service colleagues will remain
Balázs Ángyán said: at Számlázz.hu, customer service colleagues will remain real people who help other people – AI will not take their place.
“As one of the largest fintech companies in the country, artificial intelligence development is of course ongoing for us. However, it may come as a surprise to me, but we have put the AI application option that most people put first: customer service activities at the back. And as long as I have such super customer service employees like I do now, it will remain that way. Customers often ask if their colleagues are robots, because they answer all questions so quickly via live chat,”
– said Balázs Ángyán.
What will financial administration be like in 10 years?
“Perhaps we have already arrived, or within years we will arrive, in the era of technological singularity, when we have to live with such a speed and scale of change that preparing for the future means preparing for change. I think in 10 years we may no longer even understand these concepts, such as invoicing and digital finance. We will talk about them like we talk about steam locomotives today,”
– said Balázs Ángyán.
