This is where Hungarians go on vacation in the pre-season
According to the announcement of the travel agency Invia.hu, exotic destinations are usually the most popular in the first quarter, when countries that offer sunny, mild weather even in the cold months, such as Oman, the Maldives or the Dominican Republic, attract tourists.
In the post-Easter period, more and more people are looking for nearby, quickly and comfortably accessible destinations, where perfect beach time awaits even at the beginning of May. These periods are also ideal for trips, as the summer heat is not yet raging and the most popular attractions are less crowded. Weather plays a prominent role in travel decisions, and booking searches increase significantly on rainy days.
Based on the data collected by Invia.hu, the most popular destinations between April and June are Egypt, Turkey, the Canary Islands, Italy and the United Arab Emirates. These countries attract the most tourists in the off-season and most trips usually last 8 days.
