IATA: passengers want more information and self-service airport systems
Air passengers want to receive more information about flights, security checks and luggage, and require more self-service airport systems, according to the latest annual poll conducted by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
The online questionnaire of the Montreal-based trading organization was filled out by 10.5 thousand people from 145 countries. According to the data, 82 percent of the passengers want to get more information about the flight, 49 percent want to now about the whereabouts of their luggage, and 46 percent want to see the waiting time ahead of the security check.
