Three quarters of under-20s take snacks with them
6 out of ten compatriots usually travel by taking their own food with them, while half of the respondents pack snacks for going to the beach. When it comes to travel, women and teenagers are considered to be more prepared than the average: almost two-thirds of women and three-quarters of those under 20 take snacks with them – in the latter, family care certainly plays a significant role. Homemade sandwiches, store-bought salty snacks and fruit are the three most common foods taken to the beach, but a third of respondents also take home-made salty crackers with them.
