Twenty thousand hectares of vineyards have been renewed since 2010
Since 2010, 20 thousand hectares of vineyards have been renewed in Hungary, with a growing area of 1500-2000 hectares. The area actually planted is 80 thousand hectares, Fazekas Sándor Minister of Agriculture said on Tuesday in Budapest at the presentation of the brochure for vineyards and wine producers.
The publication “The Alliance with Grape and Wine Producers” represents eight years of co-operation with the excellent experts and farmers who have done a great job to make the Hungarian wine better and better, both domestically and abroad – he said. He added that a very impressive quality improvement and solid quantitative growth characterize this important sector these days. (MTI)
