The customs autorities seized twenty tons of meat products of dubious origin in Rijeka
The Croatian custom autorities seized twenty tons of Chinese meat products that were frozen six years ago and were labeled as soya in the port of Rijeka – the Croatian Novi List daily wrote on Sunday.
It turned out that instead of soy; geese, ducks, swans and was dried chicken feet, sea cucumber, seaweed and fish were packed in some of the boxes. The cargo arrived from China, while the final destination was Italy. The importer was a Slovak company. (MTI)
