Revenues up by 20 per cent for SIÓ-ECKES last year
The net revenues of SIÓ-ECKES Kft. were up by nearly 20 per cent last year and reached HUF 17.6 billion in 2007. They continue to remain the market leaders in the Hungarian market of fruit juice with a market share of 28 per cent in terms of value. Their success is notable in light of the HUF 200 million increase in costs incurred last year. According to Endre Fazekas managing director, their success is the result of innovative thinking. This year is also devoted to innovation, with SIÓ-ECKES having taken over distribution of the energy drink BOMBA! A new product creating a new category has also been presented by SIÓ. The fruit puree which will be available from the end of April is intended for small children. It is made with a 100 per cent fruit content, without preservatives or added sugar. SIÓ-ECKES is planning revenues of HUF 20 billion for 2008, with an expansion of 20 per cent in mineral water.
