The market for robotics will grow by 20 percent this year
This year, the amount spent on robotic technology purchases increases by nearly 20 percent according to the US International Data Corporation’s (IDC) survey.
According to IDC’s forecast, this year, 97.2 billion USD is spent on robotic technology purchases, including hardware, software and services, which is 17.9 percent more than in 2016. Within five years, the amount spent on robotics purchases will increase by an average of 22.8 percent year-on-year and by 2021 it will increase to 230.7 billion USD. (MTI)
