Twenty to thirty percent less grapes in the Szekszárd wine region
Due to the drought, twenty to thirty percent less grapes were harvested in the Szekszárd wine region, where the harvest of some late-ripening varieties has begun.
The winemakers of the historic wine region told to MTI that they harvested the early white varieties as well as the raw materials of the rosé wines without exception, and in many places they began to harvest the Kadarka, Merlot, Gamay and Zweigelt grapes. (MTI)
