Easter deflation: Easter menu is 7.5% cheaper at ALDI
As Easter approaches, ALDI is reducing the prices of the most popular products on the festive table. A traditional Easter menu consisting of smoked ham, horseradish and savory bread is 7.5% cheaper than during the same period last year.
ALDI always wants to provide the best possible prices for Hungarian consumers, which is why it is offering popular Easter foods at extremely favorable prices for the upcoming holiday. Customers can also assemble their festive table dishes from a rich selection of smoked meats, baked goods, vegetables, fruits, fish and dairy products for this year’s holiday.
One of the unmissable foods for Easter is smoked ham. At ALDI, customers can choose from a total of 13 products. Among the ham offerings, the 1 kg Smoked Knuckle stands out, which costs only 1499 forints this year, compared to 1619 forints last year, and the Smoked-cooked, tied shoulder, which is available for 1699 forints per kilo.
Another typical and popular Easter food is horseradish: every year around Easter, customers buy the largest quantity of pickles made from root vegetables. This year, the 200-gram private label LE GUSTO horseradish delicacy and spicy version are 20% cheaper at ALDI than last year, at only 135 forints.
Among the cakes, ALDI is offering the private label, 400-gram PANTASTICO! Easter savory cake at the same price as a year ago, 279 forints. A 0.5 liter private label beer is also available at last year’s price of 199 forints. A 10-piece Koronás M-size egg is available for 87.7 forints each.
