Before Easter: the price of eggs decreased the lamb and sheep meat prices increased

Since last year the supply price of eggs decreased by 45 percent, bull and lamb prices increased by almost 20 percent. Industry experts say: it is worth to watch out for the discount products of the chains because the weight and size of the products may vary, and the cheaper products are generally coming from abroad.

Agribusiness.hu's report shows that the purchase price of eggs are currently around 14 – 15 HUF in the case of M sized eggs in retail. The consumer price does not “move”so low, it is between 28-32 HUF.
