Meat Association: The meat industry grew by more than 8 percent last year
Thanks to the growth of the poultry sector, the performance of the meat sector increased by more than 8 percent last year – Éder Tamás, president of the Hungarian Association of Meat Industrialists (Meat Association) told at a press conference in Budapest.
He added that the meat sector’s output exceeded 820 billion forints in 2018, including meat processing and preservation reached 292 billion forints, and meat and poultry meat production 192 billion forints. (MTI)
