Meat products pulling prices up
Consumer prices rose by 0,4 per cent in June 2007 and were 8,6 per cent up compared to June 2006. Prices were on average 8,6 per cent higher in the first six months of 2007 than a year ago in the same period. The price of food showed greater than average rise for the above period at 10,5 per cent. The price of meat and poultry products grew by 1,5 and 1,4 per cent respectively, last month.
