Hungexpo: more than 23 thousand visitors visited the Travel+ Exhibition and the Budapest Boat Show
More than 23 thousand visitors visited the 47th Travel+ International Tourism Exhibition and Experience Festival, as well as the Budapest Boat Show organized at the same time between February 20-23, Hungexpo told MTI on Monday.
During the four days, numerous professional events were organized at the Hungexpo Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center, along with the Budapest Boat Show, the Caravan Salon and the E-bike Test&Show, welcoming visitors on a total floor area of more than 30 thousand square meters. Based on the feedback from 250 exhibitors from 35 countries, the proportion of people seriously interested in products and services increased this year, and many deals were concluded, they said.
A foreign country and a domestic region were given a prominent role at the country’s largest tourist parade this year: the foreign guest of honor this year was Slovakia, the country of surprises, which presented itself with a large stand, 17 exhibitors and numerous interesting things and tastings. The domestic guests of honor this time were Four Seasons Balaton and VisitBalaton365, the official destination management organization of the Hungarian sea.
According to the organizers, the Blogger Corner, the Untraveled Roads Festival, where backpackers gave their experience reports, and the Africa Expo were a great success. The E-bike Test&Show, which was still a novelty two years ago, was still accompanied by great interest: several thousand people tried out the electric bicycles on display on the 3,000 square meter test track built for this purpose. At the 33rd Budapest Boat Show this year, 40 exhibitors exhibited more than 100 boats, and the guest of honor of the exhibition in 2025 was the Hungarian Motorized Water Sports Association – the organizers announced.
