The Chimney Cake became a Hungarikum
The Hungarikum Commission has declared the Chimney Cake as a Hungarikum at its Thursday meeting – Fazekas Sándor Minister of Agriculture announced at a press conference in Budapest.
The Hungarikum Commission will provide all assistance to the legal protection of the Chimney Cakes – the minister added, who called the sweetness as part of the Transylvanian, the Székely and Hungarian tradition.
In Transylvania, the Hungarian identity is also expressed by the Chimney Cake and also symbolizes the creativity of the ancient cuisine as well. (MTI)
