Humusz Alliance: The Hungarian biobags do not decompose down naturally
The biobags marketed in Hungary are based on trickery, almost without exception: in addition to the usual plastics, they contain different catalyst materials, that cause the plastic chains quickly fall apart, but there are no organic decomposing of microorganisms – says Graczka Sylvia, head of communications at the Humusz Alliance.
“Indeed, there are bags that made of natural ingredients – such as from potato or corn starch – which are able to completely decompose in principle. But 99.9 percent of the bio bags in Hungary, are not of this kind” – stressed Graczka Sylvia – reports MTI.
