More time is spent with job search
In 2010 both the number and the proportion of people employed was stable at the level of 2009, while the number and proportion of those unemployed continued to grow – reveals a study by KSH (Central Statistical Office). In the 15-64 age group 3,750,000 people (55.4 percent) was employed. In 2010 the number of people who have been unemployed for at least a year grew and the average length of job search increased by 1.5 months to 18. There were 583,000 registered job seekers, 3.7 percent more than a year earlier.
