Income from tourism increased in Croatia
In the first six months of the year, income from foreign tourists increased in Croatia, reaching 4.13 billion euros (about 1,640 billion forints), which is 7.5 percent or 288.3 million euros more than in the same period last year, he announced on Monday. the Ministry of Tourism with reference to data from the Croatian National Bank (HNB).
Tourism Minister Tonci Glavina told the press that the financial indicators prove that Croatia has “successfully positioned itself as a year-round destination”. After the record-setting pre-season, now the income from foreign tourists is also at a record high – he emphasized.
He also expressed hope that the new plans for the development of tourism will bring even stronger growth in Croatian tourism.
Income from foreign tourists increased by 3.32 billion euros in the second quarter, which is 4.6 percent more than in the same period of the previous year.
