Spar cuts sugar content of private label products in Croatia
Spar Croatia has modified the recipes of around 65 private label products to reduce their sugar content. In 2017 Spar launched a programme to cut sugar content in its private label products in accordance with the WHO’s recommendation (the daily intake of sugar should be no more than 25 grams or 6 teaspoons, per person). It will help the retailer to remove 21 tons of sugar from its private label products by the end of this year.
