99% of Hungarian companies do not know that they can start with just one idea in a 100% intensity application, and that the EU offers complex support systems almost at their fingertips, which also open up market opportunities for those who receive a positive assessment. A proposal writing agency specifically experienced in EIC (European Innovation Council) grants has now raised the stakes even further: it has announced an idea competition, at the end of which it will undertake to write the proposal for free to the winning applicant.

Arto Consulting announced an idea competition for researchers, entrepreneurs and innovators at the beginning of February who wish to apply for European Innovation Council (EIC) grants with breakthrough technological solutions. The owner of the best idea among the applicants can use Arto Consulting’s proposal writing service worth 14,000 euros free of charge.

The European Innovation Council (EIC) was specifically created to support revolutionary, high-added-value innovations. Its Pathfinder, Transition, and Accelerator applications specifically support both early-stage and near-market projects, so a wide range of businesses can find a scheme that suits their needs, which, in addition to millions of euros in support, provides an entry point into the European innovation ecosystem, facilitating international networking.

In the most recent EIC Accelerator call in March 2024, 68 companies received support, worth a total of around 411 million euros. In making the decision, the jury selected 969 applications from a total of 347 companies: 347 were invited for a personal interview, and the 68 best applicants were selected, who could receive up to 165 million euros in non-repayable support and around 245 million euros in equity. Investments related to supported projects are managed by the EIC Fund, the dedicated investment arm of the EIC: this also involves additional private investors, increasing the available resources by an average of three times. During the call, 273 projects that were considered worthy of funding but could not receive support due to lack of resources were awarded the “Seal of Excellence”; they can apply for additional EU and Member State (e.g. recovery and regional) funds.
