Where will Hungarians live in 2051?
The population of our country is steadily declining in 1981 hours, the current population of the country is approximately one million less than 39 years ago. This trend is likely to continue in the coming decades, posing serious societal challenges. In connection with the future development of the population, the greatest attention is paid to the natural population movement processes and the supposed changes in the number of births and deaths. However, the internal migration processes are expected to significantly change the territorial pattern of population change, exacerbating depopulation in some settlements and districts, and in others even leading to population growth in defiance of national trends.
