HIPA: new support opportunity opened for companies in the field of clean technologies
Hungary has successfully announced its new support program for investments related to the Clean Industry Agreement with the European Commission, with the approval of which the country will be among the first to introduce the Clean Industry Agreement Supplementary Support Scheme (CISAF), the HIPA National Investment Agency told MTI on Tuesday.
The announcement highlighted that CISAF enables Hungary to provide non-refundable state support for investments that promote the development of clean technologies and clean energy.
The support covers the production of products covered by the Net Zero Industry Act (NZIA), such as solar panels, thermal energy storage systems and geothermal power plants, the production of key components related to these, and the production or recovery of necessary critical raw materials.
The support is available throughout Hungary until 31 December 2030 for companies that would have demonstrably implemented their investment outside the European Economic Area in the absence of support.
The support guide containing the detailed conditions of the program will be published soon and HIPA will provide further information to interested companies.
