The skills shortage is a an obstacle in the development of food production business sector. According to business leaders, the problems experienced in agricultural higher education training threatens the competitiveness of the sector.
Fazekas Sándor, Minister of Agriculture in a statement said that the rural way of life is becoming more popular among young people, which is also indicated by the fact that the number of candidates taking part at agricultural vocational trainings has increased twenty percent over three years.
