Serious corn deficit in Hungary

There is a massive export of feed grains isn Hungary right now, therefore there is a strong and urgent need for state laws about the regulation of the amount of grain exported in order to avoid a deficit – Poultry Product Council pointed out.

Because of the Eurpoean wheat deficit, it is impossible to purchase wheat under the price of 72-75 thousand HUF/ton, while the price of corn raised to 58-60 thousand HUF/ton in the new year. The council is in the opinion that the state should purchase 500 thousand tons of maize.
