Hévíz expects a loss of revenue of one and a half billion forints
In connection with the coronavirus epidemic, the local government of Hévíz expects a loss of about one and a half billion forints in the period until the end of the year. The local government planned the year with a budget of 6.2 billion forints – the mayor said at a press conference on Monday.
Papp Gábor pointed out that the largest item of lost revenue in the settlement, which is mainly based on tourism, is the 650 million HUF tourist tax, the underlying state supplement of a similar amount, which has already been delayed since May, the declining local business tax, parking fees and backlog of revenues from city events and institutions.
