Seventy thousand new jobs have been created in agriculture in the past 7-8 years
About 70,000 new jobs have been created over the last seven to eight years in agriculture in Hungary, the majority of them in Zala and in other counties of Transdanubia – the Minister of Agriculture said in Lenti on Tuesday.
Fazekas Sándor at a news conference told that the Hungarian agriculture increased its output by one and a half times in eight years.
Family farms contributed significantly to the growth, which has helped not only to increase production, but also to increase market access and increase employment, he said. (MTI)
