The December consumer sentiment is on a seven month peak in the United States, according to a study by the University of Michigan. Consumer sentiment improved to a much higher level than expected.
The consumer sentiment index increased to 99.2 points in December from the 96.8 points of the previous month. The achieved 99.2 points of consumer sentiment index is the highest since May and the second highest this year. (MTI)
