Seven thousand people were given food packages in the scope of the Food Avalanche initative
More than 15 tons of persistent food products were distributed in the past weeks in the scope of the Food Avalanche program of the Hungarian Food Bank Association and Syngenta. Nearly seven thousand families living among difficulties have received food packages in eight regions of the country.
– We are organizing the Food Avalanche since 2008 – Cseh Balázs, President of the Hungarian Food Bank Association told. He emphasized that the charity program consists of two parts. In the local government program, this year twenty-seven settlement and non-governmental organizations produced more than a hundred tons of vegetables, which were given to people in difficult situation.
