Tesco is the Price Watch champion for the seventh day
Among the retail store chains, Tesco offers the best prices for the seventh day, according to the Árfigyelő. According to a comparison of the data of the online interface launched by the Economic Competition Authority (GVH) and the Ministry of Economic Development (GFM) last summer, taking into account the unit prices, Tesco has come out on top every day since September 11, among the product categories available at all chains, the basket consisting of the cheapest products of the given category in case of
Even after the end of mandatory sales, Tesco supports the reduction of family expenses with low prices by not only keeping the price of individual products competitive, but also by offering low prices on thousands of products, so that regardless of shopping habits, the total amount of the purchase is also low. This is also supported by the comparison of the unit price baskets of Árfigyelő, on the basis of which, for seven days between September 11 and 17, Tesco’s was the cheapest among the baskets composed of the most favorably priced products in each category in the product categories available in each supermarket chain.
Starting on September 12, the company included more than 900 new products in the Price Guarantee program, expanding its discounted selection, which until now consisted predominantly of own-brand products, with the most frequently sought-after brand products. Big brands such as Milka, Haribo, Nivea, Törley, Heineken, Coca-Cola, Pick, Herz, Chio or Ariel are available at low prices. In addition, the most important sources of protein for Hungarians, fresh chicken and pork from the counter, are also guaranteed cheap at Tesco. With this, the department store chain guarantees a total of nearly 1,700 products that if someone gets these products at a lower price, they will refund the difference.
With this promotion, the department store chain is guaranteed to keep the prices of more than 900 frequently sought-after brand products permanently low, as well as significantly invest in the base prices of more than 600 products that customers were forced to give up until now due to the prices. In addition, Tesco provides thousands of consumer goods at long-term low prices, contributing to the reduction of household expenses and the stimulation of domestic consumption.
