IKEA is expanding its services in seven large rural towns
In the spirit of affordability and accessibility, IKEA is constantly improving its services. To ensure the comfort of customers and to ensure that their favorite IKEA products reach as many people as possible, Mobile Pickup Points are also opening in Dunaújváros, Hatvan, Jászberény, Kecskemét, Székesfehérvár, Szolnok and Tatabánya.
Customers can order their favorite IKEA products at the Mobile Pick-up Points at a more favorable price than home delivery to the designated settlements, where they can pick up their packages at a specified time. The first pick-up opportunity will be on April 2, 2024, for which customers can place their orders right now either in stores, on the IKEA.hu website, or if they buy their products through remote sales via phone and chat.
“In recent years, we have opened two Mobile Collection Points, in Debrecen and Miskolc, the utilization of which is constantly increasing, and we also operated seasonal Mobile Collection Points in the Balaton region. With these opportunities, we aim to help our customers who do not have an IKEA store nearby to make their home more comfortable or even more sustainable. A total of more than 65,000 of our IKEA Family club members live in the cities of the new Collection Points, and it is very important for us to be even more accessible and affordable”
– said Peter Tichý, manager of the IKEA store in Soroksár.
