Romanian retail sales increased by seven percent
Romanian retail sales grew 7.1 percent in the first seven months of this year, compared to the same period of last year – the Romanian National Institute of Statistics announced on Wednesday.
Seasonal and calendar-adjusted growth was 7.1 percent.
The growth in raw data was primarily driven by non-food sales, which grew by 9.7 percent, retail fuel sales increased by 6.2 percent, and food, beverages and tobacco sales increased by 4.9 percent. (MTI)
