The Romanian retail trade increased by more than seven percent in January-November 2014
The Romanian retail trade increased by more than seven percent in the first eleven months of the last year – the Romanian national statistical institute announced on Thursday.
The raw value of the retail trade turnover increased by 7.2 percent in the period, while on the basis of the seasonal and calendar-adjusted value, the increase was 7.4 percent, compared to the first eleven months of 2013.
The non-food sales were nearly 11 percent higher, while the sales of food, beverages and tobacco products increased by 8.4 percent. However, fuel sales declined by 0.4 percent. (MTI)
