HENT: counterfeiting causes a serious damage to the quarter of the companies
In Hungary, a quarter of firms are badly affected by counterfeiting, but most of them are doing nothing to prevent it – the recent research of the National Anti-Counterfeiting Committee (HENT) states.
The panel interviewed more than 450 company leaders from all regions of the country. Three quarters of the respondents are working at small enterprises, employing less than 50 people.
The survey reveals that counterfeiting extremely affects the quarter of businesses, while for 40 percent of the respondents the damages can be considered as medium. A quarter of the executives responded, that it is not a problem for them. (MTI)
