Heineken – festivals do not help out the brewing industry
According to Michiel Egeler CEO of Heineken Hungária Breweries Ltd; it is conceivable, that Hungarian beer consumption will never come back to its 2006 and 2007 levels and if it will, certainly not in 2010.
The recession is not only indispose the Hungarian beer consumption harder than expected, it also indispose the beer consumption in the European Union and the United States as well. In Hungary, however, the reduction in consumption has been started in 2007. Until last September, the market suffered a 8.2 percent increase in consumption – reports Napi Gazdaság.
