Hungarian companies with Slovak head office may return to Hungary
With the extension of the 10 percent corporate tax, the domestic business environment will improve. Thus, it is not impossible that the Slovakian companies will choose Hungary – said Dávid Ferenc, Secretary of VOSZ.
Not every one expect a significant step forward from the extension of the 10 percent corporate tax. Two-thirds of the domestic firms produce losses, so they can not take advantage of the favorable rate. In fact, however, some companies deliberately do not show a profit, to avoid having to pay corporate tax. According to the Secretary of VOSZ it will change: if only 10 percent should be paid instead of the former 19, it is not worth to conceal profits.
