Harvest started in Tolna County with a six-ton average yield
According to the data of the National Association of Agricultural Economics (NAK) after the harvest of the ten percent of the sown area of the winter wheat in Tolna county, the average yield is more than six tonnes per hectares.
Based on the report of Monday's harvest 4535 hectares of the 43,479 hectares of crop area of winter wheat was harvested. The total yield up to date is 27,582 tons, with a 6082-ton average.
According to the data of the Cental Statistical Office (KSH), the average yield of winter wheat in 2014 was the highest in the country in Tolna county with a 5.9 tons average yield per hectare . (MTI)
