Kitchen and household appliances from Gorenje will be working on Lake Balaton for two good causes
Among other things, refrigerators, microwave ovens, kettles and toasters worth HUF 1 million will be added to the Balaton-side units of the Magyar Vöröskereszt. In the summer, the machines will be very profitable by volunteers from the Balaton First Aid Service and the children.
This year’s energy crisis drew even more attention to the importance of energy-saving, modern household appliances. However, in the case of homes and camps maintained by humanitarian organizations, in addition to the age of the machines, in many cases their absence also makes everyday life difficult. For this reason, Gorenje has been donating kitchen and household appliances to charitable organizations for several years during the holidays, and this Christmas the company is supporting the work of the Hungarian Red Cross.
