HUF 6 bln Developing in Foktő

Switzerland’s Glencore is building a vegetable oil plant in Hungary, with a year capacity by 600,000 tons.

 The production in the plant, near
Kalocsa will start in the H2 of 2009. The plant will process about
600,00 tons of oil seed, with sunflower seeds accounting for about
half of feedstock.

Glencore Magyarország purchased
1.6-1.7 million tons of grain in Hungary last year. It had turnover
of Ft 73 billion in 2007.
