March US economic activity is near a six-year peak
Thanks to unprecedented growth in new orders has not experienced for several years, but constrained by supply chain disruptions, U.S. economic activity performance fell slightly in March from a six-month high in the previous month – according to preliminary purchasing manager indices (PMI) of the IHS Markit Institute for Economic Research in London.
Manufacturing PMI rose less than expected to 59.0 points in March from 58.3 points in February.
The PMI in the service industry reached a six-and-a-half-year high with an expected 60.0 points after 58.8 points in February. (MTI)
