METRO has become more efficient and sustainable
METRO stores in Hungary are being transformed one after the other in line with the multi-channel wholesale strategy introduced in 2022. Almost to the day after the handover of the first remodeled store in Budakalász, from the beginning of March, the METROs in Nyíregyháza, Győr and Szombathely are also waiting for those who want to shop comfortably!
METRO is expanding and developing its services for professional customers on an international level, increasing customer experience and efficiency. The focus of METRO’s new strategy established in 2021 is already the better service of the two most important customer groups, the catering industry and retail customers, and from the corporate side, the priority was efficiency and simplification of processes. For this purpose, the stores are being remodeled, with particular attention to the customer space, but part of the strategic changes are also the expansion of the delivery business, the expansion of the online marketplace, and the increase of the range of digital presence and services.
