AI regulation enters into force
On 1 August the European Union’s regulation on artificial intelligence, the AI Act entered into force.

The AI Act is to be applied in stages and becomes mandatory from mid-2026. Its aim is to make the operation of AI more understandable and transparent, including the obligation to label manipulated content.
