AI regulation enters into force
On 1 August the European Union’s regulation on artificial intelligence, the AI Act entered into force.

The AI Act is to be applied in stages and becomes mandatory from mid-2026. Its aim is to make the operation of AI more understandable and transparent, including the obligation to label manipulated content. AI is also in the focus of the latest episode of the GVH Podcast, in which Dr András Tóth, vice president of the Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH) talks about why there is so much hype around AI. //
