After a gap of more than a decade, EU tenders available for Budapest companies to support the digital transition and competitiveness are starting. In the GINOP Plus operational program, over the next year and a half, we will make available almost HUF 450 billion in resources for the development of enterprises, while in DIMOP Plus, more than HUF 100 billion can be tendered for digitization developments until 2027.

The Municipal Relations College of the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BKIK) organized an information forum for Budapest businesses to introduce the details of the GINOP Plusz and DIMOP Plusz tenders for micro, small and medium-sized businesses.

Although the latest European DESI (Digital Economy and Society Index) survey shows the significant progress of Hungarian companies in the field of corporate digitization, there is a special need for these resources, since several researches (such as Digimeter 2024, supported by the Chamber) have also confirmed that the Hungarian SMEs are still lagging behind in the digital transition.

Ákos Csókay, Secretary General of BKIK, as the host of the event, welcomed the fact that the tenders now announced for small and medium-sized enterprises are finally available to Budapest companies and that the applicants can more efficiently find services, tools and hardware that directly improve competitiveness and advantage for their own businesses in a much more complex system of indicators. , software. As stated by the political responsible Digital Hungary Agency, the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the BKIK, several years of efforts played a role in issuing the dedicated calls for tenders, the real purpose of which is to increase the business results of the winning enterprises. He especially thanked the head of the MKIK Modern Enterprises Program, the chairman of the BKIK Informatics department, Ferenc Kott, for his persistent work, who did a lot for the digitalization applications and the expansion of the Modern Enterprises Program in Budapest.

The resources can largely be used for technological and digitization developments, such as machine procurement, website development, business digital solutions, cloud services, as well as hardware procurement and other infrastructure development. In some cases, non-refundable support can be requested from the sources!
