The number of guest nights in Romania increased by six percent in the first nine months
Overnight stays in Romania increased by six percent, to 23.902 million, compared to the same period of last year – according to the Romanian National Institute of Statistics.
The number of nights spent by domestic tourists increased by 7.9 percent to 19.785 million, while the number of foreign tourists decreased by 2.2 percent to 4.116 million.
The number of guests arriving at commercial accommodation increased by 4.4 percent to 10.449 million during the period under review. The number of domestic tourists increased by 7 percent to 8.341 million, while the number of foreign tourists decreased by 4.7 percent to 2.107 million. (MTI)
