Six to eight thousand doses of prósza will be baked in Zalaegerszeg during Pentecost
The Göcseji prósza festival will be held on 20 May in Zalaegerszeg. It is predicted that six to eight thousand doses of prósza (potato cake) will be baked, during the festival, that will be held at the main square of Zalaegerszeg, Zala county.
Cserpes Attila deputy manager of the Keresztury City Community Centre said that groups of companies, institutions, companies, civil society organizations and senior citizen clubs have entered into the competition. At the festival, twenty teams will use more than 800 liters of raw materials. In the preparation of the regional dishes more than 200 people will be involved. The organizers expect thousands of visitors.
This year, in parallel with the culinary competition, the amateur competition of folk singers Voice of prósza (P-factor) was also announced. (MTI)
