Tesco is the hero of Price Monitor
Based on the Price Watcher, it is worth doing your bulk shopping at Tesco (also). According to a comparison of the Price Monitor data launched by the Economic Competition Authority (GVH) and the Ministry of Economic Development (GFM) on July 1st, taking into account unit prices, Tesco was among the first in the last few days, and today it came out on top among the product categories available at all chains in the given in the case of a basket consisting of the cheapest products of the category.* The total amount of the purchase can be even more favorable this weekend by using the HUF 1,000 discount valid for purchases worth at least HUF 10,000, as well as by taking advantage of additional discount options available at Tesco.
Tesco continues to support Hungarian families by not only keeping the price of individual products competitive, but also by offering low prices on thousands of products so that regardless of shopping habits, the total amount of the purchase is also low. This is also supported by the comparison of unit price baskets by Árhielő, on the basis of which, on July 5th, Tesco’s was the cheapest among the baskets made up of the most favorably priced products by category, and it finished at the top of the list in the previous days as well. On July 4, the company was in first place in the GVH milk, cheese, egg and bread category with the best basket price, which it managed to maintain on July 5, and it also became the cheapest in the meat, cold cuts and vegetables and fruit product categories. The total amount of the weekend shopping basket can be even cheaper at Tesco, if customers also use a HUF 1,000 discount coupon available in the digital or paper-based discount catalog, which can be used for a minimum purchase of HUF 10,000
